With world cup fever imminent and extensive experience in 'impact mailers' we decided to seize the opportunity to promote our specialism in this area.

 

We had to prove how direct mail is a fantastic way of communicating with your audience, therefore the mailer would have to clearly prove its own worth.

 

Targeting 40 select companies our 'Give it your best shot' impact mailer folded out to become a goal with penalty area containing a full team of 11 mini-chocolate footballs ready to be 'kicked' into the goal.

 

A personalised ‘cut-out’ football shirt with the name of the recipient across the back was attached to the cross bar (preventing the chocolate treats from going everywhere!) 

 

Within 1 hour of delivery we had received 7 phone calls thanking and congratulating us on the mailer. New projects were generated from a further 3 companies as a direct result of receiving the piece. Two of which were impact mailer projects.

 

The mailer built on our reputation with the targeted clients, strengthened our relationship with existing ones and bagged us a CIM 'best use of traditional media' award!
