Half Marathon Hero
On 20th May Jody took part in her first ever Half Marathon and raised funds for local charity Earsay (Jersey Society for Deaf Children & Young Adults).
The 13.1 mile route, which started at St. Ouen’s Parish Hall, and finished at Le Jardins de la Mer, at the Waterfront, took Jody 1:56:44. A tremendous achievement!
Jody started her training 5 months ago, and with the help of Adidas’s MiCoach App for iPhone she was able to keep track of all her runs and share the training progress on social media platforms – there’s nothing you can’t share these days! However Jody just wasn’t brave enough to share her progress online…maybe she will for her Marathon training (hint hint Jody)…watch this space.
